WHO WE ARE:

Yo! Hello! This is Mr. J. Medeiros and Stro Elliot… and we are The Procussions! We are back from hiatus to give you a NEW record!

If you are just meeting us for the first time, let me give you a real quick history of the group. (For the long story CLICK HERE)

We, The Procussions, got our start back in 1998, we made music, we toured the world, we were both signed and unsigned, and worked along side some amazing acts! (See long story) In 2007, after an almost ten year fight with the “music industry”, we took time off to collect our thoughts and develop as individual artists.

It’s been seven years since our last record, and during that time we’ve learned three very important things. 1) The energy within The Procussions cannot be harnessed individually. 2) We MISS writing music and doing shows as a group! 3) After years of touring, many of those as “openers” for major acts, we’ve come to realize that in the end, only OUR fan-base matters. We can’t measure our “success” on any other name but our own!

We are excited to re-group with this in mind, focusing our effort on our core fans! We are assuming, if your reading this- that this means YOU! Join us! Become a founding member of the new Procussions, help us skip the politics of the “music industry” all together, and by March, 5th 2013 The Procussions can have a BRAND NEW record out!

If you notice most of the perks in this campaign are limited- made exclusively for our FIRST supporters! T-shirts, Hoodies, Buttons, and Stickers can only be purchased here and not anywhere else at any other time. For those who would like to go the extra-extra mile, we are also offering a place for you on our album artwork and/or your name in our “shout out” song!

The Procussions

THE IMPACT:

Your investment will make a NEW Procussions album possible! It will cover recording costs, artwork and design, manufacturing of goods, the purchase of much needed equipment, and maybe even get us back on TOUR!

WHAT WE NEED:

Of course the more support we receive, the more we can do, but our main goal is to get a good solid recording, mixed and mastered, into your hands- first!

Costs

3,000: Mixing and mastering costs.
3,000: Much needed studio equipment! We will be recording this album ourselves; we have a few old or missing studio pieces, completely full hard-drives, and we need to rent a thing or two!
500: Art and design. We have a good team of people working with us on the physical creation of things.
500: Music video, promotional tools.
3,000: Manufacturing the goods!
These prices are made possible through some good’ol friendships, people willing to give their time and talent to this project. There are a lot of other costs not mentioned here, but as stated- we are focusing mainly on just getting the album recorded and in your hands.

We are two full time working musicians, who are dropping all paying gigs for the NEW Procussions; If we can reach our 10k goal we will be VERY grateful, if we can surpass it- well…that’s food in the fridge!

All hard-copies are signed!

*** In most cases shipping in the U.S. is free, all international orders be sure to check your perk for any additional shipping costs.

*** We are starting from scratch! Orders cannot be shipped until the album is finished. This campaign ends Jan. 2nd, please allow 4-6 weeks, after, for manufacturing of merchandise. We have orders going out March 5th! That’s a March 5th album release! We will be sure to give you some extra’s along the way though! Hold tight!
