When it comes to the sub genre of Christian Hip Hop, there are strengths and there are weaknesses.  Does CHH have commercialism?  Double check.  Does CHH have fierce underground lyricists? Of course.  But does CHH have sonic innovation?  I think I can hear crickets.  In my personal opinion, there is a lack of sound architects (and adequate promotion) that mesh genres in interesting ways.  Fortunately, artists like Wes Pendleton, Theory Hazit, Sean Little & Vintage, A Yellow Man, and The Runaway are changing that. And of course, Beautiful Eulogy is leading the movement as well.
